Drops are the main collectible items found in Balan Wonderworld.

Information

Made from people's memories and emotions, Drops can be found in any Chapter's Acts except for Boss Acts. They can be earned by collecting them throughout the Act, defeating enemies, playing sport mini-games, or jumping on floating yellow drop machines/any other discoverable new method found in Acts. Playing Balan's Bout will multiply the amount of drops you have collected up to 2.0x.

Drops are used to feed Tims. When at the designated colored flower patch, press then action button to release drops. Throwing too much will cause some to de-spawn, but they do go back to the amount that you currently have. Drops help Tims change color and ability, and helps them grow to adult Tams.

Trivia

  • Orange, Green, Blue, and Purple Drops were cut from the game, but the icons/models for them are still in the in-game files.
    • In one of the Photo Mode's borders, there are Orange, Lime, and Blue Drops scattered around.
  • According to the novel, "...drops... are made from people's memories and emotions. The Tims... tend to go for the positive ones, but the Negati go for the negative." There is no clear way to tell the difference between positive and negative drops.
  • Because drops are made of people's memories and emotions, the process of the tear that Balan sheds becoming a Drop is a clear example of what Drops are. Balan's memories and emotions of Leo and Emma's journey become physicalized by becoming a Drop.
