Leo "Streetbeat" Craig (レオ・クレイグ, Reo Kureigu) is one of the two main protagonists of Balan Wonderworld, the other being Emma Cole. He plays a lead role in the novel, Balan Wonderworld ~Maestro of Mystery, Theatre of Wonders~, as well.

Several years ago, Leo had a big argument with his best friend and has preferred being alone ever since. One day, Leo shows his dance moves to some children and becomes nervous that they won't like him. Leo lives in an apartment in the outskirts of Highland Isle.
Personality[]
Despite his cool and confident façade, Leo is shy and asocial in his introduction, always avoiding interaction with other people due to his past. Despite his introverted behavior, he can get along with others, better than what he expected of himself. He displays impulsivity and can be easily irritated, though in the end, he is loyal and caring. Leo is generally interested in dancing, and wants to become a dancer. He is described as being not being "universally well-liked."
In the games' ending cutscene, Leo is shown to get over his fear, and socialize with other people.
Appearance[]
Leo's appearance can vary depending on what variant was chosen before starting the game, but for all his variations, his attire is comprised of a blue bandana, a white button-up shirt with elbow-length sleeves, an open sleeveless red vest containing gold buttons, black pants which are rolled up to his ankles, and black and blue sneakers. The version of Leo mainly advertised (and is the default selection) has fair skin, spiky blonde hair that curves down behind his head, and blue eyes.
The other variants of Leo that can be selected in-game include him having black hair and slightly tanner skin with black eyes, red hair and tan skin with brown eyes, and dark brown hair with dark skin with dark brown eyes.

- In the novel, "Balan Wonderworld ~Maestro of Mystery, Theatre of Wonders~," Leo enters Wonderworld and soon forgets his name. Until he remembers it with the help of Balan and Emma, he is referred to as "Streetbeat" by the other Inhabitants.
- This is a reference to how Leo dances in his own intro.
- People often compare Leo's design to that of Sonic the Hedgehog, another character made by Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima. This is due to Leo's spiky hair that resembles Sonic's quills, and the use of the color blue throughout Leo's design matching Sonic's blue fur.
- Leo is used as a default height for concept art featuring height charts, this is shown in Box Fox's height chart.
- It also revealed that Leo is 150cm, or 4'11.
- Leo and Emma have different loading icons, the designs of which are also present in their outfits (in Leo's case, it's the design on his bandana).
