Highland Isle is a real-world location found in the novel, Balan Wonderworld ~Maestro of Mystery, Theatre of Wonders~, but is also found in some of the cutscenes for Balan Wonderworld. It is the home of both Leo Craig and Emma Cole, and possibly home to other inhabitants as well.

Highland Isle is a city where both Leo Craig and Emma Cole live. Leo lives in an apartment at the edge of town, while Emma lives in a mansion. A meteor shower/shooting star event took place at Highland Isle, called the Eltrandos. According to what we've seen, it appears to be a bustling city, and we can infer that Leo's stage in the novel bears some resemblance to it. TBA
Not much is said about Highland isle, as a majority of the plot revolves around Wonderworld, and how it is only discussed about in the novel. However, the inhabitants knew where to find Leo and Emma via the Eltrandos meteor shower after the events of the game's story, thus explaining how they all found each other for the Epilogue.
