Trivia[]

  • She bears a resemblance to Puffy from NiGHTS into Dreams and Donbalon from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. All being spherical humanoids.
    • Her royal appearance may also be a nod to Queen Bella from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.
  • Despite Attilio being male, his Nega Boss corruption is female.
  • Her appearance represents Attilo Caccini's fear of confessing his love to his crush.
  • Her name is in reference to the princess in whom Attlio struggles with confessing his feelings to, "Princess Merry" (as her name is revealed to be in the novel). As well as a play of the word "nightmare."
  • Marey's German and French name contain the word "Karni," possibly referencing the word "carnival," in each language, "Karneval," and "Carnaval," respectively.
  • She resembles the character Walpurgisnacht from the Madoka Magica anime, both having elegant dresses, while having no legs, which are replaced by a large object.
